[30 August 2013] Singapore Nights Festival 2013

New post before my Hong Kong trip.

Just ended my Korean IK201 vocational module exam.
Damn freaking stress, i don't understand most of the question heading so i don't really know how i'm supposed to handle the question. OTTOKE!?!

Anyway its over so yeahhhh OHOHOHOH.

The main focus of this post will be the Singapore Nights Festival 2013!
The 6th nights festival held.

We started walking from The Cathay. There was this huge LED BOARD where you can dedicate your messages through the Samsung Tablet the staff was holding. I can't tell what are the words on the board below as well...
"TYPE LIGHT by Trafik"

After that, caught a glimpse of the paper planes outside School of the Arts. Beautiful.
"PAPERPLANES by Pitaya Design"
Outside of the National Museum of Singapore you get to see the visual arts on the facade. (I just love to pronounce FACADE sorry). It's some alien monster thing ah...

Nothing much special inside, just the usual exhibitions from time to time.
You may also read the poetic balloons on the net...AND.

RARRRRRRRRRR~~!!!

BAZINGA!  it's cute.
After which, we went to Fort Canning Park, which made me remember my Lady Gaga concert venue LOL.
九歌 Nine Songs, an Arts Extravanganza
Presented by Lianhe Zaobao
They are having this CHINESE ARTS show which has dancing and martial arts fusion.
Managed to catch the drums play though before the show came to an end! Well it started at 7:30pm which is before we even had dinner...

Like a rum pum pum pum DRUMS ROLL!
This was the closing act.

Leaving Fort Canning Park any continue exploring...

Ended up at ARMENIAN STREET, this group of 4 (1 girl, 3 guys) performing contemporary dance.
There was a huge crowd surrounding them.

/Focuses on the wrong thing oops.
Substation x Penarakan Museum

TOO Hot and tired and lazy and sticky to wait for this ASTRO donno what band to finish their sound check so that they can start to rock & roll...so we left.
Walk till Raffles City, which was quite a distance, hoping to find some "lights"
This two angmoh kids to cute, just look at what they drew, well not exactly by them (they got so tall meh)

"Water Light Graffiti by Antonin Fourneau"

”大鱼吃小鱼“
This board makes use of water, so when the sensors detect water on the surface they will light up.
The crowd will use a “duster" sprayed with water to draw.

We figured there's nothing else around Raffles so the next stop! SAM!
(ya SAM the AXS machine best friend)

Visual Projections on the Singapore Arts Museum facade.
Went in to see the exhibitions which was themed "Terms & Conditions" , revolving the Egypt and Arab culture and issues.

Above, a kinect motion sensor that replicates your action with the projector.

Z-Z-Z-ZEBRA

Everyone was tired ...went home after visiting SAM.
Didn't catch the Absolute Canvas exhibition!! sian!

Ok guys peace out, thanks for reading.
小朋友们,请记得刷牙。
