[9 August 2013] Happy National Day! Singapore Turns 48!

Long time no blog! (Pardon me for the late post, but anyway who reads the blog except for myself).
This post will describe how i spent my National Day!

So i decided to go see the NDP Fireworks the budget way. That means to camp at Marina Barrage and wait for the fireworks which is expected to occur at around 8:30pm.

I woke up freaking early in the morning, 7am+, grab McDonalds breakie and head towards Marina Barrage with Mr Gates. We were damn kiasu, we scared no "FENGSHUI SPOT" to take the fireworks so we planned to arrive early to "chope" spots.

Guess what...In the end it was freaking vacant. The space at the edge of the fields, shown on the right of the picture above, were very empty. We reached and saw ONLY one guy, which turns out to be the cell group leader later on as we spy longer. We were also one of the first few to set up our picnic mat. SIBEI KIASU SIAL.

Well, the sun has been the best friend for that day, tried to burn me, and succeded. Put sunblock on hand like hours later but anyway bo chup, no use.
Thanks to being early birds, we managed to also catch this spectacular sight. A group of kitists (idk what to call them) Kite Flyers? Which we guessed they're probably from Kite Association. They managed to flew this super long flag up into the skies around 10+am, but it was no longer there around 12pm.
SO SAD FOR THE PEOPLE THAT CAME LATE. U AIN'T CATCHIN' BEA
UTIFUL SHIT. (Let me self comfort a bit ok)
We were bored and got nothing to do...Snap some pics like staph one atas photographer you mei you.
The feeling under the scorching hot sun... virtual oven i said. We sat there and judged people, played some poker, very distracted by the magnificent ELONGATED KITE as well.

Above photos are not edited, this too. Laughs. Pardon if i'm too ugly for your eyes. (Rated NC16)
The view from my camping spot.
Judging people for the mornin' and munchin' on grapes.
Bro Photo wa wa botaks. I think this picture is ultraman rare. We don't even take pictures normally.
PS: (Feat. GIORDANO umbrella)
Then, it drizzled in the afternoon...no cool. About 3pm, we're damn kanchiong and hurry protect our home like Dota. BAO THE FOOD AND BAGS AND CAMERA LIKE SOME 小笼包。

Time for some DSLR HD sexy pictures below

Time for the patriotic stuff. Around 6pm+
Ordered to stop flying kites, Wanrong already came by then. Followed by Ernald arriving later.
All bejeweled like some UFO flying in the skies.

Suddenly the helicopter with the 60kg+ flag flew pass and instantly you can hear all the camera's shutter bestowing upon you. MAJULAH SINGAPURA.
After that, really shag already, Just standing and waiting for the fireworks from 6:30+ to 8:30+
There were a lot of camera stands beside the railings, all the kiasu photographers also camp there like siao.
The pictures you've been waiting for.
Spectacular ain't it?
Following and erratic one...

Ok that's it, though i took about 300+ shots of firework, but be welcomed to ask me to show you the others.

After that, we went to a kopitiam at West Coast to get supper den head home.
The unforgettable thing: I became a Korean to a Tibetan in one day.
Days after that my skin hurts and peeled so bad. Until now it is still peeling (already 2 weeks has passed).

If you read my blog, thank you for your interest.
